Domestic Flight Arrivals Redevelopment Project (YQB)
Magil Construction, in collaboration with Tisseur, is proud to announce that it has been awarded the construction management mandate for Lot 7 of the redevelopment project for domestic flight arrivals at Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport.
Awarded by Aéroport de Québec inc., this mandate is part of a strategic project aimed at increasing YQB’s capacity and supporting the anticipated growth in passenger traffic in the coming years, while maintaining a smooth and welcoming experience. The project includes, among other things, the redevelopment of the domestic flights area, the construction of a new interface building, a new baggage and cargo unloading room, as well as improvements to sanitary facilities.
Magil-Tisseur will act as construction manager starting in the preconstruction phase, bringing its expertise to an active airport environment. This approach will support the client and professionals in the delivery of a complex project where operational continuity, safety, stakeholder coordination and execution quality will be key priorities.

Construction work is scheduled to begin in fall 2026, with project completion anticipated in summer 2028.
