The property’s distinctive concept along with a lavish garden setting and spectacular lake views create an unparalleled environment for visitors and locals alike.
Hospitality, Sports and Entertainment
Hotel X offers 404 luxurious rooms, underground parking, restaurants, cinemas, meeting rooms, physiotherapy clinic and children’s recreation centre. Ten X is a complete sports and leisure facility equipped with indoor tennis and squash courts. Hotel X is targeting LEED Silver certification and boasts a wide variety of sustainability measures.
A Tall Order
This project consisted of the completion of construction of a 5-star 29-storey hotel in Toronto on the historic grounds of Exhibition Place. Magil was brought in by the client to complete the hotel after the default of the previous contractor. We completed the main lobby, kitchens, ballrooms, pre-function, meeting rooms, bridal and groom suites, bars, lounges, VIP areas, and many of the outdoor amenity spaces. We were also the Construction Managers for Ten X Sports Complex.
Project Integrated Within a Historic Site
Hotel X Toronto is the only hotel on the historic grounds of Exhibition Place, located just inside the iconic Princes’ Gates and opposite the Enercare Centre and is divided into three buildings: The Hotel Tower, Ten X Toronto, and the historic Stanley Barracks.
Construction of Ten X
As Construction Managers for Ten X Sports Complex, we helped to materialize this facility designed to draw world class athletes as well as guests or members to utilize a broad selection of health and wellness services. Our Interiors Division captured the client’s and designer’s vision for this space.
Extensive Sports Complex Amenities
Ten X includes four Tennis Courts, six Singles Squash Courts, two Double Squash Courts, Fitness and Weight Room Studios, Hot Yoga Studio, Cycling Studio, Pilates, Locker room and Shower amenities alongside custom Steam rooms, a Pro Shop, Members Club Lounge; Children’s Playroom and facilities, Golf Simulator Room in addition to the first fully licenced Starbucks in Canada, stretched out within four floors at the Hotel X Sports Complex.
