Magil Construction is proud to announce that it has been awarded the contract to carry out asset maintenance work on the Place des Arts Theatre Building, located in Montréal’s Quartier des Spectacles.
This significant project aims to ensure public safety and preserve the longevity of this iconic building, a cornerstone of Montréal’s cultural life. Planned interventions include the restoration of exterior cladding and curtain walls, the reconstruction of the main entrance on Sainte-Catherine Street, and the modernization of select spaces, including Salle Claude-Léveillée. Work is set to begin in April and is expected to be completed in 2028.
Place des Arts is an exceptional architectural complex that brings together several major performance venues and cultural institutions, playing a central role in the presentation of performing arts in Québec. This project is part of a critical asset maintenance initiative aimed at preserving infrastructure integrity, addressing existing issues, and enhancing the overall visitor experience.
